one-half Nelson is a multimedia artist, performer, and event producer based in Portland, Oregon. For over 20 years one-half has disrupted creative spaces across the U.S. and abroad. Her body of work defies boundaries and has earned them the reputation of being a master visual storyteller.

A veteran of New York City nightlife, she honed her crafts working in venues like the notorious Mr. Black and alongside living icon Susanne Bartsch. She quickly become a fixture in a world steeped in avant-garde self-expression; spectacle as art. Simultaneously, one-half has worked behind the scenes as a creative director and producer, translating concepts into one of a kind events.

Her early explorations in experiential design and performance art have evolved into a deep focus on multimedia, blurring the lines between human and digital realms through light, video projections, performance, and a touch of post-production sorcery.
